Hi. We are Tim and Regina Shelnutt. We live in Georgia, about 45 minutes outside of Atlanta. Tim is an Insurance Agent and Regina works in the Emergency Department of our local hospital. We have been married since 1984, and after several failed attempts to have a child of our own and growing tired of the infertility route, we felt that we were being led in another direction. Adoption is not foreign to our family. There have been many adopted children in my (Regina) family for several generations. We learned early on that love isn’t limited to blood relations. Heart relations are just as strong. After doing some research and much prayer, we felt that overseas adoption was the way that we were supposed to complete our family.
This website was created to assist us with communicating with our family and friends while we are “in country” adopting our little one. We would be honored to have you share our journey in this most special time of our lives. We will be posting a daily journal and pictures during our time away. Also, please feel free to drop us a note in our Guest Book, as we would love to hear from you. In addition to our Lord, it is from you, our family, friends, and our WPA extended family that we draw our strength.
